Paul Palandjian said investors and private funds are crossing over into the hospitality market looking to invest in the sector since it has shown improvement. Palandjian said while the market isn't quite back to the peak pace of 2000, it has been steadily recovering and is close to the pace set five years ago before Sept. 11, 2001, caused a slowdown in travel and tourism.
